The Lodge: Las Torres Lodge was established over 40 years ago by the same family who operates this private estancia today! The Galvez family homesteaded this land with ranching and family outings in-mind. This Chilean estancia is a working sheep and cattle ranch consisting of 6,000 acres of private land to explore and fish. Within the boundaries of the lodge flows the Rio Trevioso, and its' headwaters Lago Los Torres (Lake of the Towers). These waters are the ultimate setting to challenge the modern fly angler with unique approaches to catching wild Chilean brown trout in their gorgeous and wild surroundings.

Within a five minute drive from the lodge is the magnificent Cisnes River (River of the Swans), a classic freestone glacial river flowing from its origin near the Argentina border to the rugged Chilean coastline. On any given day, we invite you to accompany us to experience breathtaking scenery, unspoiled fishing, and exceptional guiding in these challenging freestone waters.

At days end, we return to the lodge for a relaxing taste of full-bodied Chilean wine, a locally prepared meal, and conversations of the day on the river and of the days to come. We typically end the day by sharing the splendor of the unique southern constellations before retiring to private rooms. In the morning, we eat a full breakfast, gather our gear, and prepare for the next chapter in exploring Patagonia…together.
