Michael Jones: Is a fully licensed guide in Chile who has spent many seasons preparing for your visit while working at Las Torres Lodge. Michael works as a Registered Professional Maine Guide, and offers clients the unique opportunity to share his experiences in South America. His knowledge of the waters, the region, and the local people allow him to offer unique and colorful experiences to his clients with a modern approach. Michael is a member of the Federation of Fly Fishers, the reigning New England Fly Casting Champion, and an elite member of the Cloudveil Mountain Apparel & Clackacraft Drift Boat Pro-Staff, respectively. His experience in Chile is demonstrated in his proven, on-going approach to guiding successful international travel trips to South America. His teaching/guiding skills are fun and informative, and are far-reaching by all standards.
Bob Duport: Is a licensed guide in Chile as well as a Registered Professional Maine Guide and licensed New York State Guide. He is a knowledgeable and witty individual with many advanced fly-fishing experiences in numerous international fly-fishing locales. His fly-fishing career has taken him from the Rangeley Lakes Region of Maine to the Adirondack Regions of New York, to the Bahamas, as well as to guiding in Patagonia, Chile. Bob has fished extensively in the Western U.S., Alaska, as well as South America. Bob has a strong ability to find big fish and choose the right fly the 'first-time', and will be offering our clients his knowledge & skills in his return to Las Torres Lodge in 2009.
